The interview continues with the discussion of the formation of the all African American squadron of the air force (the 99th Fighter Squadron, out of Tuskeegee), and the motivations that the interviewees had in joining the military. Stewart goes on to talk about training in Tuskeegee and his experiences with segregation in the war.
